Dr. Zadok, a certified social worker and a researcher, is an expert in infant and early childhood mental health. She is a faculty member at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where she is involved in both the BSW program and the Graduate Program in Early Childhood Studies. In the BSW program she is the head of the fieldwork division. In the Graduate Program in Early Childhood Studies, she teaches several courses which focus on families of young children, supervises students and serves as the practicum coordinator.
Both her MA and PhD are from the Paul Baerwald School of Social Work and Social Welfare at the Hebrew University.
Dr. Zadok emphasizes the importance of supervising and training professional teams, social workers and students. Her research deals with the field of early childhood, perceptions of caregivers, specifically educators and parents, on therapeutic and educational issues in early childhood. She also researches supervision and training of social workers and social work students. In her research, Dr. Zadok focuses on cultural and social contexts, and the influences of the context on the work in early childhood settings. In her clinical work, Dr. Zadok works with traumatized infants, children and their families. She is a graduate of the Child-Parent Psychotherapy Training Program (CPP), and the "Training the Trainee" program.
